The Netball branch of SMFNC was proudly relaunched in 2021 under the leadership of Mary and Celeste. Starting small but determined with just three teams, the club quickly made our mark in the NFNL securing our first premiership in 2022 following the relaunch.

Since then, the program has experienced remarkable growth. By 2025, our senior division expanded to seven teams, and we introduced a thriving Junior Netball program lead by Karen, further strengthening the club’s future.

At the heart of our Netball program are the SMFNC values that continue to attract and unite our players. We are committed to developing both new and experienced players, helping each individual reach their full potential within a supportive environment. Leadership opportunities across all levels empower our members and contribute to the overall strength of the club.

Respect for teammates and the wider community is central to everything we do. This is reflected in the pride our players take in representing SMFNC, both on and off the court.

In 2026, we have entered five strong teams into the NFNL Winter Senior Netball Competition, including our Premier Division 3 side.

Trials for our 2026 junior teams are currently underway.
